Her Native Roots Herbals are Consciously Prepared. While proprietary information is legally protected private property belonging to TALON, Inc., we disclose to you our motivating values as reflected in our labelling:

We state that Her Native Roots Herbals are "Ceremonially Prepared."  The concept of Ceremony is Gratitude -  offering 'thanks' to all concerned  - from field to bottle to shipping. Beyond the ceremony of Thanksgiving, each batch of formula is begun on the New Moon and 'taken off' on the Full Moon. From these Full Moon Formulae, we then hand bottle each order the day that order is shipped!

Understand that any Prayers of Thanksgiving are NOT a part of any pricetag! That would be no more accurate than saying a good chef who says a prayer in the kitchen is selling those prayers as a part of the menu price! By the same analogy, a professional football player isn't being paid for the prayers he says in the locker room, nor any personal pre-game ritual he may have - his contract is for how he performs on the field. One final comparison, for clarity: someone hiring the Amish to build them a barn will not likely be educated about what prayers they say, what their working songs mean, in English, nor to the Amish. The person paying for the barn is buying - a barn. The private elements of the 'process' the Amish use in its construction enhance the barn, but belong to the Amish. 

Another phrase on our bottling - 'Ethically Wildcrafted,' is a term coined by M.AmyLee* and borrowed by us, to denote the consciousness we embrace as we harvest herbs for you. Our Harvesters do not over-dig nor over-harvest an area, a species. We are taught how to take just one segment from a root, and not kill the entire plant. We know how to harvest when the time is perfect for that plant to be borrowed from, not when it's convenient for us to 'get out there.'

The third distinction on our labelling is "Certified Organic." It is important to note that all life is more or less 'organic.' Certification, however, denotes the passage of ongoing tests which qualify our herbal ingredients as being in accordance with that issuing agency's high standards for such. The criteria demands not only pesticide-free plants, but also inspected agricultural chemical-free land on which the herbs are grown as well as no post-harvesting chemical fumigation.

These are some of the traits which set Her Native Roots Herbals apart from other companies. Whatever all this may mean to you, we thought you'd want to know, and we are proud to tell you.

Her Native Roots Herbals were a Gift entrusted to us by those Keepers of  Traditional Herbal Ways. The pronoun 'Her' refers to the Mother Earth who offers us Her Native Roots and Herbs. The majority of the herbs in our Formulae are native to North, Central and South America. Our intention is to share these most potent Herbal Formulae with those who respect and value that generous Gift of Her Native Roots and appreciate our extra care and ethics.
